Scrapbooking for Teens-Oct. 14th & 21st

Teens (grades 6 and up) and adults are encouraged to scrapbook in the community room at 6:30 pm. Do you have many photos and don’t know how to begin? These workshops are great for beginners! Begin a project or complete an existing one.

Dates: October 14th & October 21st

Time: 6:30-8:30 pm

Location: Community Room

In session one, we will explore how to coordinate different colors and paper patterns. During our second session, we will cover titling and journaling, important features in any scrapbook page.

Please bring 4-6 pictures, alphabet stickers, and embellishments in order to begin a new project. Don’t forget to bring a folder or album to store your completed projects.

We will provide paper, scissors, glue, and stickers, paper cutters, and Cricut and Sizzex machines to use for free.

Rock Band Tournament

Teen Underground is hosting the Rock Band Tournament. Come and show off your musical skills, try it for the first time or learn by watching others. This event if free and open to teens (grade 6 and up).

DDR Tournament Today


Teens, come and testing your dancing skills in Dance Dance Revolution competition from 2:30-4pm. Don't know how to play? Don't worry, the game will guide you. A prize will be given to the top performer.

Teens, grades 6 and up, are invited to share their ideas for teen programs. Do you want to start a new club or enjoy planning events? Then the Teen Advisory Committee is for you! Teen Advisors meet once a month for an hour in the Community Room. If you are interested please come our initial meeting.

Last Week for Summer Reading!!!


This is the last week of our Summer Reading Program: Express Yourself! Don't forget to redeem your reading coupons and participate in our summer programs this week. All reading and activity coupons will be used as a drawing ticket for the summer end prizes. To register, please see a front desk staff member.

The Never Ending Story

Teens, grades 5 and up, are invited to watch this great adventure story this Thursday in the Board Room from 6-7:35pm. Enter a fantastic world where the strongest power is the power of the imagination. A young boy comes across a book that can project the reader into its story. You'll see a land of flying dragons, evil tigers, racing snails, and a warrior-child who must save it from destruction. Popcorn and refreshments will be provided. This movie is rated PG.

Pirate's Treasure Hunt!


Teens, grades 6 and up, are invited to search the library for the pirate’s lost treasure by following a map and completing a series of challenges. This is a fun and interactive game!
