April is Poetry Awareness Month. April 30th is Poem in Your Pocket Day, people are asked to carry around and pass along a poem to family, friends or coworkers. Check out the display in the teen area and share your own poem or favorite poem.
April 2nd-Chat & Chew! @ 2:30pm. Come and share summer program ideas over pizza.
April 10th-WHHS Library show. Doors open @ 6:30pm and Music begins @ 7pm. $5 fee. Come and enjoy live rock music.
April 21st- Holocaust Rememberance @ 3 pm. Remember the Holocaust by listening to short-stories from Holocaust victims and discussing its relevance today. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
April 22nd- Twilight Movie Premier @ 3pm. Twilight book club members will showcase their Twilight power point slide, games and You-Tube video. We will premier the Twilight Movie.
April 30th-Night in the Library movie premier @ 3pm.
Night in the Library is a spoof of Hollywood hits with your favorite characters from books coming to life! A teen is invited to attend a meeting of the Secret Society of the Underground, meeting in the "dungeon" at the Haverford Township Free Library. There he learns the library's secret, the characters of their books come out to play at night. But everything is about to change...can this young man help battle the library's nemesis?
